After hiking the Appalachian Trail, Aileen Forrester, also known as Cinnamon continues her hiking adventure as she attempts to hike 2,660 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. Hoping that this hike will bring her relationship with Manhattan closer, she hardly notices the other hikers on the trail until they are all thrust into a very dangerous situation and must unite in order to survive. Her hiking friends, known as G-Group, encounter 700 miles of desert, snow covered mountains with thousand foot drop-offs, forest fires and several bears. Almost to Canada, they face some of the most treacherous weather conditions and dangerous terrain in the mountains of northern Washington State. Why had I done it? I asked myself. To meet amazing people, to sing songs, to see beauty in mountains, to push myself, to listen to my spirit, to lose fears and to eat a lot, was my answer!
